The picture of the giant bee brought out lots of different ideas. Abigail, who goes to Priestthorpe Primary in Queensbury, Bingley, West Yorkshire has used her imagination to take us to a village fete!

I was stuck! Stuck with doing a carnival for Artiridge Pre school. I had already been given my costume. An over sized bee outfit. I looked ridiculous. Totally awful!

The dreaded day had come! We were all gathered in the proposed area. Waiting and waiting! Finally after what seemed like hours we were all there. We set off! I was really embarrassed! Everyone was pointing, staring in my direction. A murmur ran through the crowd. “Look it’s a giant bee. Poor girl having to walk round in it.”

That made me feel worse! I stripped off my costume. “I’ve had enough!”
