When writing blog posts to take part in the 100 Word Challenge, you’ll need to allow comments on your posts so others from around the globe can comment on pupil’s posts. You can do this by going to Settings > Discussion in the admin area and unticking “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”. Also make sure “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is ticked. Once this has been done you will notice that it hasn’t changed anything with your old posts. To enable comments on old posts go to Posts (“Blog Posts” on ed.gs and “Blogging” on PrimaryBlogger) > All Posts and you will see each post has a tick box next to them. Tick all the posts you want to let people comment on and then select the “Bulk Actions” drop down at the top of the list. Choose “Edit” then click “Apply”, a new area will pop up. In this area you want to select the drop down next to Comments that says “– No Change –”, then select “Allow”. Once you’ve done that, click the blue “Update” button. You should now be allowing comments on your all of your posts.

Hello Julia,
My classes will be using kidblog.org to blog this year. Is it compatible with this program? Would you be able to direct me to the instructions for connecting their blog entries to this site each week? Thanks so much!
I will be using kidblog as well and wondered if it works the same as the ones you mentioned.
They are all much the same Jennifer. Shout if you get stuck
Can I select teacher moderated comments on kidblog? In other words, comments are enabled; they just need to be approved by me befor going on the blog?
I really like your story I hope you keep up the good work!
Keep up the good work!!briliant.
